Eat At Cowboy Sharkies
As I wallow in this WOM stuff, I'm increalingly aware of when I talk about and recommend brands, products, services and companies. I'm also starting to be a little more vocal about recommending those that I find remarkable.
On that note, I want to recommend Cowboy Sharkies, a restaurant here in Tulsa. I took two of my kids there tonight and we really enjoyed it. Great kids menu, steak and seafood for the adults. Wonderful service. Oh, and they have lots of aquariums and a huge model shark painted by a local body shop - purple with green flames.
At the end of the night, I learned that our server was in fact Robert Johnson, Director of Operations. They have a customer sat survey with the check - unusual for a small single location restaurant. We talked about it and I learned that Mr. Johnson reads each one persoanlly. I suggested that he add the "would you recommend" question. He liked the idea and said he was going to add it within a day or two. Neat guy. His eldest daughter was also waiting tables.
I learned that they are opening a new location soon in downtown Tulsa in the building that most recently housed the bar "Cronies" and "The Fur Shop" before that. The building has a wonderful outdoor stage and courtyard with a great view of the downtown skyline. They have already made arrangements with Budweiser to be included in their summer concert series. This is good news for downtown Tulsa. I'm glad to see that building being put to good use.
Their customer sat survey is also used to collect email addresses. Those on the list will get the the first shot at eating at the new location, invitation only. So go grab a bite and the current location and sign up to get the skinny on the new location.
BTW Mr. Johnson, yes, I would recommend Cowboy Sharkies!
